Lisa Erspamer is a creative force, expert at identifying and transforming great stories into moving visual spectacle. She is a three time Emmy-nominated producer, New York Times best-selling author and Co-Founder of Happy Street Productions, a television, film, digital production and entertainment consulting company focused on creating emotionally connective scripted and non-scripted content. She’s known for her influential 19-year collaboration with Harpo Productions, as Chief Creative Officer and Executive Vice President of Programming and Development for The Oprah Winfrey Network, and Co-Executive Producer of the Oprah Winfrey show, where she produced some of the show’s most memorable episodes, including the biggest flash mob in history, Oprah’s After Oscar Specials and Whitney Houston’s final interview.
Throughout his impressive career, actor Jonathan Tucker has had the good fortune of working with some of today’s most talented filmmakers. His credits include Carter Smith’s Dreamworks thriller The Ruins, The Next Three Days starring Russell Crowe which reunited him with Academy Award-winning writer/director Paul Haggis for whom her previously starred for as the central role in NBC’s drama The Black Donnellys. Additional credits include The Deep End, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Stateside, Criminal, The Virgin Suicides, and Hostage. Television credits include DirecTV’s Kingdom, Starz American Gods, Justified, Parenthood, and Hannibal, as well as guest star roles including Royal Pains, The Practice, Criminal Minds, White Collar, and Six Feet Under.
Charlie Sextro grew up in Dallas, Texas but moved away to Los Angeles, CA as soon as it was legally possible. He started out working at Entertainment Tonight, Tartan Films USA (now defunct), Paramount Vantage (now defunct), Peace Arch Entertainment (now defunct). Somehow he scored a gig as Senior Programmer for the Sundance Film Festival where he focuses on U.S. fiction programming, the NEXT section, the MIDNIGHT section (sick!) and episodic programming. In LA, he programs a hodge-podge festival of movies, music and comedy in a 1930s movie palace called Sundance NEXT Fest (August 10-13).
Zel McCarthy is a journalist who specializes in music and digital media. As a writer, editor, and producer he has interviewed hundreds of artists including Calvin Harris, Robyn, Steve Aoki, Daft Punk, and Dawn Richard. From the beginning, Zel has been committed to sharing the stories of people who might otherwise be underrepresented, advocating for voices that often go unheard. With a reputation for fairness, fun, and occasional brutal honesty, he has been able to secure access to people and places we usually don't get to see. After holding editorial positions at Vice, Billboard, and other publications, Zel comes to Happy Street Entertainment as a producer working on the development of digital platforms and producing content for brands.
