Plans for SeriesFest: Season 7
Want to know “What’s Next?” SeriesFest: Season 7 is here to help! While we very much wish we could be together in person to celebrate, this year’s virtual festival June 24 – July 11 has been designed and curated to provide you with an alternative to your every day, a robust line-up in which to immerse, and a multitude of networking opportunities. With must-stream events including competition screenings, panel discussions, one-of-a-kind workshops, never-before-seen sneak peeks and unique virtual gatherings, there is no shortage of inspiring content, or opportunities to engage with other industry professionals to elevate your work and endeavors as the world continues to open up.
Highlights of this year’s festival include our Network Premieres, signature Innovation Talks focusing in on the complex and evolving entertainment landscape, panel discussions opening up important dialogue around timely subjects, and our absolutely incredible array of Independent Content in support of emerging voices which includes new initiatives such as: Next In Queue: A Spotlight on Podcasts, Pilots In Progress, and The Smartphone Series and Short Film Competition. In addition, we are excited to share with you the inclusion of closed captions on all our programming, new comment sections on each of our program pages, and our remarkable virtual party environment in Topia which promises to provide you with an online experience that breaks with our all too “boxed” in present norm.
The best way to experience the festival is with a pass that gives you access across the full 18 days and garners you entry to all our parties.

We learned a great deal from our 2020 virtual event and we feel fortunate to build upon that foundation this year to bring you an even more dynamic experience. Throughout the festival, we will be utilizing a number of platforms that support not only your viewing, but your ability to learn, network and party!

We are dedicated to supporting the art of episodic storytelling and championing emerging voices both during the festival and throughout the year. As such are uniquely positioned to present you with “What’s Next”. We look forward to hearing from you throughout the festival and seeing you in person in the near future.
