From Comedy and Drama to fan favorites like our Late Night Competition, we’re bringing more than 50 independent series pilots from around the world to Denver this May. Several of these original pieces feature talent you know, including Golden Globe and Emmy Award-nominated actor and producer David Oyelowo, actor Simu Liu, Ali Shaheed (A Tribe Called Quest), actor Denzel Whitaker (Black Panther), and more!

Independent Pilot Competition
This competition offers independent episodic artists the unique opportunity to screen their 18-60 minute drama, comedy, and unscripted television pilots in front of an audience of major industry players, network executives, and fans.

Digital Short Series
Some of the most innovative voices now reside in the digital space. Our Digital Short Series Competition is back to showcase engaging storytellers, featuring 15 ingenious series that deserve to be discovered!

Late Night Competition
A can’t-miss selection of strange, absurd, hilarious, and “what the hell?” offerings for an expectation-defying, not-safe-for-work viewing experience.

Pilots in Progress
Creating a pilot is a process and we want you to take part in it! After you watch this year’s Pilot in Progress, Unknown: The Geraldine Washington Story, audiences will share their feedback live as well as through a provided questionnaire.

SeriesFest’s Pitch-a-thon program provides independent content creators with an opportunity to participate in an exclusive live pitch session with top television, new media and digital executives in hopes of moving their unproduced projects forward. Seven series will have 5 minutes to pitch live to a panel of industry experts!
