Full Bleed is a documentary series taking viewers inside the extraordinary stories of the most breakthrough creative projects of our time, going beyond the expected creator profile to explore what it takes to push boundaries, and examine how obstacles can become the conduit for groundbreaking work.

Architect Daniel Libeskind built his celebrated career on turning trauma into art, best showcased on two high-profile projects: the Jewish Museum in Berlin and the World Trade Center Master Plan.

When designing the Master Plan, Daniel wanted to turn the footprints of the Twin Towers into a water feature extending deep into the bedrock. Submitted into an anonymous design competition, Daniel’s concept won, but that was just the beginning. Working in such an emotionally charged context, Daniel was under constant scrutiny from the press, victims’ families, and developers. While forced to compromise some of his vision, Daniel’s work now stands as a beacon of hope for the millions that visit it each year.

After graduating film school, Patrick Daughters went to work making music videos and commercials. After a working for a decade, he paused his career and to get an MFA in visual arts from Columbia. Thereafter he studied bonsai, and returned to filmmaking. An interesting note on the art of bonsai:

The ultimate challenge for the Bonsai designer is to expose the essence of the tree. The art of Bonsai is telling a story through living illusion. The artist strives to find avenues for personal expression within the confines of good horticultural practice. Bonsai is a pleasant mix of form, thought, and suggestion, in a miniature world.

A filmmaker and writer turned creative director, Dan Cowles has been working in the branded content space since the early days of video on the internet, creating industry leading and award winning work across many a paradigm shift. Today he continues to look for ways to help Adobe reach new audiences, with honest work that pushes creative and technological boundaries.

Zac Ryder is the co-founder and Executive Creative Director of The Lab at Anonymous Content, the brand incubator inside the Oscar and Emmy winning media company. Working in collaboration with top filmmakers, screenwriters and actors from across the Anonymous universe, he leads a talented team of producers and creatives in the development and execution of projects they refer to as “entertainment with marketing effects,” the next generation of brand funded content.
