SeriesFest will celebrate Bovaird’s work on April 3, 2025, by honoring her with the Excellence in Costume Design Award, followed by a special runway presentation of looks inspired by “The White Lotus”

February 26, 2025 (DENVER, CO) – SeriesFest will celebrate HBO’s hit series “The White Lotus” with a special evening honoring Costume Designer Alex Bovaird with the 2025 “Excellence in Costume Design Award” on April 3, 2025 in Denver. The international television festival’s “Fashion In Focus” event, in partnership with Matthew Morris Salon, A Line Boutique, Worth Style, and Wilhelmina Denver, will highlight Alex Bovaird’s work on all three seasons of “The White Lotus” with a runway presentation. The night will include a pre-event reception serving bespoke cocktails, costumes on display from HBO’s “The White Lotus”, words from the honoree, and a look at the cutting-edge fashion inspired by the award-winning series. The evening is presented with generous support from sponsors A Line Boutique, Matthew Morris Salon, Wilhelmina Denver, Worth Style, Kérastase, and the Colorado Office of Film Television and Media.
Bovaird received two Emmy nominations for her work on the first two seasons of “The White Lotus.” The third season of Mike White’s smash hit, set in Thailand at the titular resort, stars Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood. Episodes are now streaming on Max.

Now in its 11th season, SeriesFest was created to champion and discover innovative projects in the television industry. This year, from April 29 – May 4, the non-profit organization will host a wide array of programs including scripted, unscripted and late night pilot competitions, exclusive screenings, series premieres, panels, and workshops. As previously announced, comedian Amy Schumer will open the festival with a one-night-only headline performance at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. ABOUT ALEX BOVAIRD
Alex Bovaird is a three-time Emmy® Award-nominated costume designer with a diverse roster of film and TV credits. Most recently, she is designing for A24’s “Primetime” starring Robert Pattinson. Last year, as well as doing the costumes for “The White Lotus” in Thailand, she worked for Andrea Arnold on “BIRD,” nominated for Best British Film at the BAFTAS. Coming from England, she trained in New York and is currently pinging around the world with her passion for costume and story. The social satire is set at an exclusive Thai resort and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week. The eight-episode third season is currently airing on HBO and streaming on Max.
