Legacy In Television: Grey’s Anatomy

As Richard Webber, Pickens is one of the few original cast members of ABC’s award-winning, critically acclaimed drama “Grey’s Anatomy.” He’s also had recurring roles on such series as “NYPD Blue,” “The X-Files,” “The Practice,” “Philly,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Six Feet Under,” “The West Wing,” “Roseanne” and “Beverly Hills 90210,” Pickens also starred opposite Rob Lowe in “The Lyon’s Den” (NBC) and with William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman in “A Slight Case of Murder” (TNT). For his role on “Grey’s Anatomy,” he received a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Drama Ensemble and won an NAACP Image Award.

Currently starring on ABC’s award-winning, critically acclaimed drama “Grey’s Anatomy,” Camilla Luddington has the gift of portraying characters with both strength and vulnerability. As OB/GYN resident Jo Wilson, Luddington displays plenty of both, balancing her time between complicated storylines of love, family and career. Previously, Luddington had a recurring role opposite David Duchovny and Evan Handler on the Showtime series “Californication.” She also recurred on the long-running HBO drama “True Blood” as Claudette the Fairy.

Canadian-born actress Caterina Scorsone is perhaps best known as firebrand brain surgeon Amelia Shepherd on ABC’s award-winning, critically acclaimed drama “Grey’s Anatomy.”

While still in Canada, Scorsone co-starred alongside Kirsten Dunst, Rachael Leigh Cook and Merritt Wever in Oscar®-winning director Sarah Kernochan’s coming-of-age film “Strike.” Following increasing success in both television and film, she starred opposite Academy Award® nominee Ed Harris in Agnieszka Holland’s “The Third Miracle.” She then went on to receive her first of two Gemini nominations (Canadian Emmy®) for her role as Michelle Parker in the hit Canadian show “Power Play.”

An established star of film, television and theater, Scottish actor Kevin McKidd made his feature film debut in 1996, starring in Gillies MacKinnon’s “Small Faces,” followed by a starring role alongside Ewan McGregor in the film “Trainspotting.” He has also been a brooding Caesar-era soldier in HBO’s “Rome” and a time-travelling journalist in the 2007 NBC drama “Journeyman.” Currently, McKidd is widely known for his role as Dr. Owen Hunt in Grey’s Anatomy.

Kim Raver currently appears on ABC’s medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy” as Dr. Teddy Altman. She also co-produced with her husband three Lifetime films based on novels by international bestselling author Jane Green.

Raver has appeared on the fifth season of Showtime’s “Ray Donovan,” as well as on Fox’s “APB” and “Bones.” She also reprised her series regular role, Audrey Raines, in the Emmy®-nominated “24: Live Another Day.” Raver was also seen on NBC’s “Revolution.” She is also well known for her role as Nico Reilly on NBC’s “Lipstick Jungle” from creator Candice Bushnell (“Sex and the City”).
