About the Artists

Amy Schumer

Schumer is the creator, star, writer and executive producer of the award-winning sketch series INSIDE AMY SCHUMER. Schumer made her motion picture breakthrough in her self-written comedy, TRAINWRECK, directed by Judd Apatow. She won the Critic’s Choice Award for Best Actress in a Comedy and was nominated for a Writers’ Guild Award in the category of Original Screenplay.

Schumer teamed with Goldie Hawn in the mother-daughter comedy SNATCHED before tackling Jason Hall’s drama THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, opposite Miles Teller. She then starred and produced the STX comedy I FEEL PRETTY. During this time, Schumer has continued to perform her stand-up and has taped multiple shows for television, including AMY SCHUMER: THE LEATHER SPECIAL and AMY SCHUMERGROWING for Netflix. Most recently, Schumer released her TV documentary series, EXPECTING AMY on HBO Max and starred alongside her husband, Chris Fischer in the Emmy nominated TV Series, AMY SCHUMER LEARNS TO COOK. Amy can be seen next alongside Steven Yuen in Stephen Karam’s drama film, THE HUMANS, produced by Eli Bush and Scott Rudin. Furthermore, Schumer will be starring in her self-written anthology series, LIFE & BETH for Hulu.

Mia Jackson

Mia Jackson, a native of Columbus, GA, started her stand up career in Atlanta. Now living in New York, Mia performs regularly around the city when not on the road. She has written for Life & Beth (Hulu) and I Love Us (BET+).  A true multi-hyphenate, Mia landed a voiceover role as the narrator for My Celebrity Dream Wedding (VH1) and has half hour comedy specials on MGM+ and Comedy Central. She was recently featured on Season 2 of Nateland Presents: The Showcase and Don’t Tell Comedy. Mia’s smart, funny, relatable material entertains all types of crowds.

Jaye McBride

Jaye McBride is funny, smart, and proudly transgender. Jaye is the first openly trans comedian to perform at Madison Square Garden and is a regular at New York City’s Comedy Cellar. She was featured as one of the “New Faces” at the Just For Laughs comedy festival, and the Netflix is a Joke Festival. Her special Daddy’s Girl was praised in the New York Times as ‘very funny’ and described Jaye as having ‘an ear for jokes.’ In addition to comedy, Jaye recently won a Writer’s Guild Award for her writing work on Inside Amy Schumer.

Voices Rock!

Voices Rock is Denver’s original adult rock choir. We welcome everyone, whether you’re a seasoned singer or have never performed in your life and just really want to sing and have fun! The goal of Voices Rock is to build community, and we provide several social opportunities outside of rehearsal for our members to get to know each other. We also strive to help our community through charity and several outreach performances each year.

The Honey Empire

The Honey Empire is an indie-rock band based out of Denver, Colorado. Their unique sound combines vocal harmonies and melodic guitar licks with a nod toward female-led ‘90s alternative music. Kimberly and Yvette first started playing together as part of VINE, a local cover band.
