The stand-up special event on Tuesday, April 29 will also feature additional performers to be announced at a later date, and launch the six-day gathering of artists, storytellers, and industry professionals in Denver, Colorado.

Festival badges granting access to SeriesFest, including this special event, are available at seriesfest.com  beginning  today, Monday, February 3 at 10:00AM MST (9:00AM PST/12:00PM EST). “We are thrilled to have the multi-talented Amy Schumer kick off our 11th year with a very special performance for SeriesFest,” said Randi Kleiner, SeriesFest CEO and co-founder. “Amy is an innovator and her range of talent is exemplified by her award-winning experience as a film and television series writer, director, producer and star. We can’t wait to see what she brings to SeriesFest.”

Schumer stars in the upcoming comedy feature, “Kinda Pregnant,” alongside Will Forte and Jillian Bell, launching February 5 on Netflix. The Emmy® Award-winning producer also created, wrote, and starred in the critically-acclaimed series “Life & Beth” and “Inside Amy Schumer.”

Now in its 11th season, SeriesFest was created to champion and discover innovative projects in the television industry. This year, from April29–May4, the non-profit organization will host a wide array of programs including scripted, unscripted and late night pilot competitions, exclusive screenings, series premieres, panels, workshops and galas, such as the SeriesFest Soiree. Additional programming details will be announced soon.
