The Comedian, Actress, Writer and Producer Will Headline SeriesFest’s Opening Night at the Historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on April 29, 2025

February 3, 2025 (DENVER, CO) – SeriesFest, the annual international TV festival that celebrates emerging talent, breakout series, and fresh voices in the television industry, will kick off its 11th season with a one-night-only performance by comedian Amy Schumer at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The stand-up special event on Tuesday, April 29 will also feature additional performers to be announced at a later date, and launch the six-day gathering of artists, storytellers, and industry professionals in Denver, Colorado.
Festival badges granting access to SeriesFest, including this special event, are available at seriesfest.com beginning today, Monday, February 3 at 10:00AM MST (9:00AM PST/12:00PM EST). Tickets for Amy Schumer at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre can also be purchased separately through AXS.com, with a pre-sale starting February 6 at 10:00AM MST and general sale starting February 7 at 10:00AM MST.

Schumer stars in the upcoming comedy feature, “Kinda Pregnant,” alongside Will Forte and Jillian Bell, launching February 5 on Netflix. Written by Schumer and Julie Paiva, the comedian stars as Lainy, a woman who gets so jealous of her best friend’s pregnancy that she starts to wear a fake baby bump of her own, and accidentally meets the man of her dreams. Schumer’s most recent comedy stand-up special, “Amy Schumer: Emergency Contact,” was nominated for a Golden Globe® Award. The Emmy® Award-winning producer also created, wrote, and starred in the critically-acclaimed series “Life & Beth” and “Inside Amy Schumer.”
Now in its 11th season, SeriesFest was created to champion and discover innovative projects in the television industry. This year, from April29–May4, the non-profit organization will host a wide array of programs including scripted, unscripted and late night pilot competitions, exclusive screenings, series premieres, panels, workshops and galas, such as the SeriesFest Soiree. ABOUT AMY SCHUMER
Amy Schumer is a Golden Globe, Tony and Grammy nominated standup comedian, actress, writer, producer, activist, and director. Her most recent projects include critically acclaimed series from Hulu’s LIFE & BETH Season 2 which Schumer stars in, created, wrote, and directed and the Golden Globe nominated Netflix comedy special, AMY SCHUMER: EMERGENCY CONTACT.

Schumer will next be starring in and producing the Netflix Comedy “Kinda Pregnant” alongside Will Forte and Jillian Bell from director Tyler Spindel with Adam Sandler producing under his Happy Madison Production Banner.
Schumer’s first book, The New York Times bestseller The Girl with The Lower Back Tattoo, earned her a 2017 Grammy Award nomination for Best Spoken Word Album and was released in paperback in August 2017.
Some of her other credits include award winning TRAINWRECK (2015), SNATCHED (2017) and THE HUMANS and her comedy specials AMY SCHUMER: LIVE AT THE APOLLO (2015), THE LEATHER SPECIAL (2017), and AMY SCHUMER: GROWING (2019). She was
nominated for a Tony for her role in Steve Martin’s play METEOR SHOWER (2017). She is the only female comic to headline Madison Square Garden.
