LEVEL FORWARD IMPACT AWARD
Given to the pilot and team that demonstrate a thoughtful, thorough and deliberate approach to using storytelling as a means of leveling the playing field for underrepresented people including women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA and alternatively- abled voices.
INDEPENDENT PILOT COMPETITION
Provides a platform for the most innovative drama, comedy, unscripted and animated pilots out there ranging from 18 to 60 minutes.
DIGITAL SHORTS SERIES COMPETITION
Honors exciting new digital series with episodes under 15 minutes.
LATE NIGHT COMPETITION
Live action or animated programs with a total run time of 4-15 minutes featuring the strange, absurd, comedic, sketch, or “what the hell?” that can run as a miniseries or extended seasons.
PITCH-A-THON!
Independent content creators will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive live pitch session with top television, new media and digital execs in hopes of moving their projects – and careers forward.
COLLEGIATE CREATORS SPOTLIGHT
Collegiate and university students nationwide compete to have their produced pilots (18-60 minute drama, comedy, unscripted and animated) showcased at SeriesFest: Season 8.
STORYTELLERS INITIATIVE: COLLEGIATE WRITING COMPETITION
Creative, fresh writers at the collegiate level submit pilot scripts with a strong point of view and bold characters.
PILOTS IN PROGRESS
An opportunity for creators to virtually and securely screen a rough cut of their pilot for constructive feedback from fellow creators and industry to help fine tune and finalize their project.
