The SeriesFest Vanguard Program is a brand new professional development initiative, presented in partnership with Canva. This program brings invaluable insights from groundbreaking visionaries in the television industry directly to emerging creatives by connecting artists across multiple platforms, events, content, and resources.
The SeriesFest Vanguard Workshops, presented by Canva, are free virtual conversations with industry icons alongside live creative tutorials, designed to take your careers in television to the next level! These are one-of-a-kind professional development opportunities are geared toward episodic storytellers—but they’re beneficial to anyone in visual media.
The first-ever Vanguards include Grammy and Tony-winning Actor / Writer / Producer Daveed Diggs (Co-Creator: Blindspotting, The Little Mermaid, Hamilton) and Showrunner / Writer / Producer / Actor Rafael Casal (Loki, Co-Creator: Blindspotting), Actress / Director / Producer Sue Ann Pien (As We See It), and Littleton Road Productions’ Patrick Macmanus (Writer, Producer, Showrunner, Dr. Death, The Girl from Plainville) and Kelly Funke (President, Littleton Road Productions).
