What is a Fiscal Sponsorship?
Fiscal sponsorship is an arrangement between an existing 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an individual or entity lacking the legal status needed to receive grants from foundations, individual donors and government agencies.
What types of projects are eligible?
The program is open to episodic content projects of any length and short films at any stage of development.
Non-US applicants are welcome to apply.
What does the fiscal sponsorship agreement include?
- A competitive 7% on all donations to SeriesFest to support administrative and accounting fees
- Tax deduction to US-based donors for all fully-deductible donations
- Discretionary oversight to ensure compliant use of funds
- Donation processing via credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, check, and ACH
- Real time donation and payment tracking
- Individualized page on SeriesFest website (View Featured Projects)
- One (1) waived submission to SeriesFest
