“Having the opportunity to experience the work brought forth by so many new and innovative voices rising in the industry really inspired me to continue my journey towards a filmmaking career. I was able to access the wisdom of so many key players in television that I would not have the chance to communicate with otherwise. SeriesFest was the fuel I needed to tap into my creative writing flow!”

—Eric Hill, 2024 Collegiate Fellow, Community College of Aurora

“SeriesFest has been such an influential experience as an emerging writer, being surrounded by so many other creatives has gotten me so excited about developing my own work in this industry.”

—Ariana Padilla, 2024 Student Collegiate Fellow

SeriesFest is proud to partner with the Television Academy Foundation to showcase the annual College Television Award Winners.

TV ACADEMY FOUNDATION

The Television Academy Foundation is bridging the gap between the classroom and the entertainment industry by providing direct access to the industry, nurturing careers, and offering professional development to support artists, artisans, and executives.

Last year, we were proud to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of preserving television history through The Interviews, which offer students, scholars, journalists, and fans the opportunity to learn from the leaders in our medium from yesterday and today.

Our programs are changing the entertainment industry for the better and enabling us to create a pipeline for our future while seeding the stories that will connect, entertain, inform, and inspire.
