Read MoreThe mission of Young Storytellers is to inspire young people to discover the power of their voice. Using one-on-one mentorship, low-income and students of need learn how to write original stories and see them brought to life. Currently Young Storytellers serves more than 60 public schools in Los Angeles and New York City, reaching 1,200 students each year. SeriesFest will be bringing the program to Denver this spring. Fifth-grade students will write their own 5-page screenplay and see it performed by actors at The Big Show.
